Having spent 18 years at the heart of the internet, I’ve seen many digital trends come and go. Seen technologies evolve. Watched and many online businesses flourish.
I have learned that all too often the really innovative teams and small businesses don’t get the recognition they deserve. These are the bedrock of our digital economy. They are the unsung heroes of the industry, setting a new standard in our constantly evolving landscape.
It has always been my mission to support online business. That’s clear in UKFast’s strapline: “Your future is our business”. It’s also clear in our purpose:
“UKFast exists to significantly accelerate commerce and learning through innovation and thought whilst contributing to our customers’ success.”
As part of this, we’ve supported the Digital Entrepreneur Awards for over 10 years in finding new innovation in our industry. (Entries for these awards are open until 11th August. It’s a huge opportunity to have your hard work recognised. They’ve previously been won by the likes of Social Chain, Lucozade and Sainsbury’s.)
That’s why I am delighted to announce that we have spread the net even further and officially partnered with The Dadis. These are the Drum’s awards for the digital industries. The Drum – the biggest marketing website in Europe – runs the awards which celebrate the best in the digital industry, the businesses at the forefront of digital transformation.
The Dadis recognise and reward agencies and brands producing outstanding digital work. They have grown during the last decade to become one of the most prestigious awards in digital.
I look forward to being part of the celebration and recognising the incredible innovation being created by agencies across the country.
