Gary Neville is a sporting superstar who made his name on the pitch for Manchester United as part of Sir Alex Ferguson’s world-renowned ‘Class of ‘92’. Now, the former Red Devils captain and England International is helping to shape the future of Manchester off the pitch.
A businessman and property developer, he owns Hotel Football, next to Old Trafford football stadium, and has been given the green light to build another hotel in Manchester city centre. He also has 50% stake in the award-winning digital agency e3creative, co-owns Salford City Football Club and his university UA92 is due to open its doors next year.
The parallels between sport and business has always fascinated me. In this open and honest interview Gary speaks candidly about life at Manchester United, from having a glittering career in football to feeling like an embarrassment.
His winning mentality and determination to succeed is now helping him to trail blaze in the world of business.
