A decade ago Brendan Rendall was overweight, out of shape and in a ‘self-destructive spiral of drinking and partying’. When he began running, following a bet with friends on a night out, it changed the course of his life.
Remarkably, the 39-year-old has just completed a 4,000 km run across Africa, battling the elements, wild animals and a parasitic infection to raise thousands of pounds for charity. Not one for putting his feet up, Brendan is already planning his next adventure.
His incredible story is one of determination, resilience and dedication. I talk to him about the power of positivity and mental strength, how we can achieve our true potential and the importance of living in the moment. I hope it inspires you into action.
