Planning is key to success, but how do you stay on track. Have you ever gone into work with a list of things that you want to get done, only to find out a few days have gone by and most of them are still outstanding?
I find the reason for this is normally because the list you have created is a little overwhelming. Plus its easy to have the best intentions when writing the list only to find you are not in the right frame of mind to do a certain type of job the next day.
The best way to combat this is just pick one or two things off your list and tackle them immediately making sure you complete them. Then rather than have a whole day of unpleasant or exhausting jobs, do something you enjoy. This balance makes tomorrow less daunting too.
Good luck though, because the more successful you become, the bigger the list. So as fast as you learn to get on top of things, balancing your time will continue to be challenging. This is part of the fun of being a busy person though!
