timeDo good things really come to those who wait? Whilst it’s a nice theory that engenders patience, I can’t help but think there is something missing. Tenacity, passion and effort are also needed alongside that patience.

In business and in life, you’d be incredibly lucky if you were to sit and wait for something good to happen, and it actually did.

Achieving your goals actually takes action, hard work, commitment and focus, alongside that patience.

Even if you win the lottery, you have to take the action of buying the ticket.

We’re a business built on speed; on helping those who we work with do business faster and achieve results faster. There is little that I wait for. If there is a way to move more quickly, we will find it. It’s one of the reasons we took the steps to creating our own network and ultimately building our own data centres – so that we can provide virtual and physical access faster for our clients.

Thinking about it, when do we ever really enjoy waiting? Our experience in eCommerce has taught us that no one likes to wait. Websites lose visitors and businesses lose money by making people wait for pages to load, for goods and services to be delivered or for a response to their question.

Personally, I think it is the opposite. Good things come to those who don’t wait!
