key 103 mission christmas warehouseIt is often said that we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. I couldn’t agree more.

It is the same in business. Businesses grow and are successful because of what people give – what you give to your business, what your team gives and what your community gives you. Support, passion and hard work.

I believe that it is incredibly important to give back to the community. I know that UKFast would not be where it is today if it were not for the Manchester community and the support that I have received on my entrepreneurial journey.

That’s why we have such a focus on giving back.

I am always amazed at just how caring the UKFast team is. When there is so much negativity in the world, seeing the team come together this week to volunteer their time to help a common cause is fantastic.

This week sees the end of the Mission Christmas campaign. Our team are heading into the campaign’s warehouse to help pack and sort all of the donated toys over the next few days, taking it in shifts to ensure that as many people as want to can get involved.

Every year, without fail, the team take on the challenge to bring Christmas to Manchester’s children in need.

It is also a fantastic team-building experience. There are no greater opportunities to strengthen bonds in the team than when you are out of your comfort zone; the manual labour of sorting, lifting and delivering toys does just that!

There are just a few days left of the Mission Christmas campaign; you can still make a difference. Drop off an unwrapped toy at our Campus or at the warehouse in Trafford Park before Friday and make Christmas special for a little one in the city this year.

See you there!
