With today’s Manchester-based eCommerce Live, we launch into our latest drive to bring the eCommerce community together. In an era when it is so easy to communicate across the globe, often we forget to communicate with the people on our very doorstep.
I built the auditorium at UKFast Campus for this very reason – to bring people together. Since then we’ve held more than 100 events each year to bring together each area of the community.
It’s far more valuable to collaborate
The response to eCommerce Live was so phenomenal last year that this year we’ve upped the ante. We’re holding a second event, tomorrow, this time at The Shard in London to enable our Southern eCommerce network to share their expertise too.
Additionally, we’ll be joining eCommerce Expo next week, one of the biggest expos in the country dedicated to online retail.
In such a competitive landscape, it’s easy for people to shut down and protect their secrets. In fact, it is far more valuable to share with others, to collaborate and learn from each other.
Throughout our eCommerce events we’ll be covering everything from web-speed to peak seasons, to the tech that your website relies on. Then, there’s AI, payment innovation and personalisation to consider too.
The team at UKFast will be sharing the insights from the events’ experts panels over the coming weeks. In the meantime, join and follow the conversation at #eCommerceLiveUK and come along to our future events. I hope to see you there.
